Used to flute and chamfer dowels for a tighter, more precise fit. Fluting the dowel helps eliminate trapped air and excess glue, and increases the gluing surface. Chamfering the ends makes insertion and alignment of dowels easier. Flutes are compressed, not cut. Forms 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" diameter dowels. Oxide coated steel stand.
