Duplex Rabbeting Plane
Also known as a Fillister plane, a Duplex Rabbeting plane is useful for producing rabbeting cuts in doors frames, windows, furniture, and cabinet carcasses. It has 2 bed configurations: One for normal rabbet work; and a second bull nose configuration for stopped work.
The plane will cut rabbets both with and across the grain. It is equipped with a spur cutter to prevent tearing and splintering on cross grain cuts. The adjustable guide fence and depth stop help determine precise width and depth of cut. Plane is approx. 8-1/2" long with a 1-1/2" wide blade. Ductile cast iron body. Imported
