Dave Hout Bowl Skews - Turn bowls so smooth you won't need to sand
Designed by our own Woodworking School Director, Dave Hout, these tools are used to make the final smoothing cuts after the bowl is shaped. With practice, the shear cutting action will leave end grain so smooth, sanding can be all but eliminated.
The two tool set consists of one tool with a deeper flute to be used on bowls up to 5" - 6" in diameter, and a shallower tool is for use on bowls 6" and larger in diameter.
