Germany (A) Heavy Splitting Axe - A heavy duty splitting axe with an extremely robust wedge shaped head. Excellent for splitting large logs, tree trunk sections, and firewood. 36" curved American hickory handle. Head weight - 5.0 lb. (B) American Felling Axe - A heavy duty American style felling axe for large trees and limb removal. 36" curved American hickory handle. Head weight - 4.0 lb. (C) Scandinavian Splitting Axe - A medium duty Scandinavian style splitting axe with an offset wedge shaped head to prevent jamming in logs with twisted or difficult grain. 30" straight American hickory handle. Head weight - 3.5 lb. (D) Universal Felling Axe - A medium duty felling axe. Used for bringing down smaller trees, trimming limbs, and light splitting work. 30"- straight American hickory handle.
